Ritter Hot Springs

If you are ever in the area I highly recommend visiting Ritter.  Located about 20 miles from Long Creek in Eastern Oregon it is a very remote and beautiful spot along the middle fork of the John Day River.  They have cabins you can rent.  Along with the pool that is heated from the hot springs there are mineral baths, hiking trails, a place to barbeque with picnic tables, and beautiful views of the surrounding cliffs.

If you look close you can see a little swinging foot bridge that you can cross to get to the mineral baths in this photo.
